Delete Account
This page explains how users of GaKaWa Tibetan Reader can delete their member account and what happens to account-related data after deletion.
How to delete your account in the App
- Open the GaKaWa Tibetan Reader App.
- Go to “Member Center”.
- Select “Delete Account”.
- Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
- Tap “Confirm Delete”.
What happens after deletion
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be restored. Personal account-related data will be deleted or anonymized, including member profile data, favorites, recent reading records, reading progress, bookmarks, reading marks, personal notes, and other personalized reading data.
Data that may be retained
For legal, accounting, transaction security, refund processing, or abuse-prevention purposes, certain necessary records may be retained for a period of time. These may include purchase records, platform transaction records, wallet point transaction records, refund records, and necessary financial records. Such data is used only for compliance, transaction verification, customer support, or security purposes.
If you cannot access your account
If you cannot sign in to the App or cannot use the in-app deletion feature, please contact us using the email address associated with your account and state that you wish to delete your account.
